The Engineer: 5 Apps that I Love

Hey y'all! Hope you all are staying safe and healthy! This week we were talking about Apps that we can't live without. I like these apps because they have helped me be more productive, understand more about different topics, and also have a good laugh. If you're curious about them, keep reading!

If you know me, you know I have probably mentioned Notion at least once or twice. Notion is a productivity tool that combines so many other tools. You can create todo lists, tables, write docs, schedule reminders, track your progress and so much more. Some of the things I use notion for are , keeping track of blog posts I've written or plan to write, track my financial goals, books I've read, and different tasks that I have to complete. It really keeps everything in one place. I love it so much that I even pay for the app to get the most of the feature (they do have a free version that allows for the functionality that used to be in the old personal pro plan, so try it out now!).

I've tried other budgeting tools and this one has got to be my favorite. One of the reasons why I like YNAB is because I feel better control of where my money is going and can accurately keep track of where my money is going. It's really tricky to set up at first but it honestly helps you really evaluate where your money is going and how much money you're actually spending. (This Youtube Video helped me really get started.)

I love podcasts! Probably as much if not more than I love listening to music. I learn so much, get a good laugh, and I can do other things while I soak in what the podcast is saying. I listen to a mix of Pop Culture/Comedy, Business, Tech, and Finance Podcasts.

Youtube is my favorite. You can learn more about a variety of niche topics and get into some interesting rabbit holes on things. Through YouTube I've learned a variety of skills and a variety of topics.

Twitter is my favorite social media app. Like if I had to delete all the other social media apps but keep one it would be Twitter. Twitter is filled with laughs, information on what's going on in the world, tech, and finance, and you can meet and connect with so many different people for various opportunities. I've seen people get job offers, meet their business partners, develop friendships all through Twitter.

What are some of your favorite Apps? Let us know!
