The Chemist: Fenty Beauty (Cont.)

Hey everyone! This week we decided to do a continuation of one of our parts in #MacLetters, our newsletter. If you don't have a copy yet, tweet/FB message/email us and we'll send it your way! Be sure to send it out to others as well. We'd appreciate getting the word out about #MacScientist.

In #MacLetters, I started talking about Rihanna's makeup line, Fenty Beauty, and the new line of matte lipsticks so I'll just continue to rant and rave about the rest of the collection. Let's keep in mind I am in no way, shape, or form, a makeup artist so I wouldn't even call this a review, it's more of me gushing about how much I love her and this makeup as an everyday user.

Now, I have a good bit of this collection. Again, I LOVE this woman so the day it launched I ordered stuff online and then still went to Sephora to buy more. What I love most about her products is that they're pretty affordable and she really has something for everyone. The foundation is perfect and the shade selection is super impressive so if you don't know your shade you should get on that (I'm 330). It's awesome that she's making sure everyone can get her hands on her stuff so you don't have to fight sleep to order the day of a new release, you can sleep normally and even wait a few days before making a purchase.

Other items I have are the blender, blotting powder, Match Stix trio (in Tan) , another Match Stix Shimmer (Sinamon), Killawatt highlighter (Ginger Binge/Moscow Mule), Glass Bomb lip gloss, Stunna Lip Paint (Uncensored), and four Mattemoiselle lips (Clapback, Midnight Wasabi, PMS, and Shawty). I genuinely love this collection and will definitely be continuing my support for Rih. Now here are my favorites.

My Faves:

Glass Bomb: I don't even wear lip gloss but this color is perfect for those days I don't want to wear lipstick. It's a pretty pinky nude that goes well with anything.

Killawatt highlighter: Let me tell y'all about the highlighter I have.....I absolutely LOVE these powders. This fall I added rose to my color palette and Ginger Binge/Moscow Mule was the perfect addition to my highlighters. The coppery tones pop on my cheeks and my nose. Swear I think I'm popping when I wear either color. I like that one is shimmery and the other isn't because sometimes I don't shimmer and sheen does the trick. Mean Money/Hu$tla Baby is next on my list of Killawatt purchases.

Stunna Lip Paint: My mother can attest to my obsession with this lipstick. IT. IS. LOVE. It literally does not move. I've worn it multiple times and it's stayed on through dinner, drinks, talking, it just doesn't fade. I've never truly fallen in love and found a lipstick I can never run out of until this one, which says a lot because lipstick is my thing - recall, the Mac in MacScientist is for Mac lipstick. I cannot wait until she releases more colors of the Lip Paints. It's going to be hard to top that red. If she gives me like a plum purple, I will cry I promise you, but for now, I'm patiently waiting and loving randomly wearing a red lip.

I haven't picked a favorite Mattemoiselle lip yet, because there are a few more I want to buy but as an everyday lip, Shawty is perfect and to go out, Clapback is love....if I had to pick right this second. I like that they are soft matte so it's not harsh on the lips and the colors she out our great. I'm crossing my fingers that one of the oranges works for my skin tone.

Keep up with my twitter page for more updates on the stuff I buy from Fenty Beauty and let me know your faves!

See you next week.
